Seasonal contract: mid-February to late October 2009
Full-time contracts: 30 hours per week over 5 days (including weekends). Part-time contracts are also available (3 or 4 days per week).
Over 300,000 people visit The Queen's Gallery and the Royal Mews at Buckingham Palace each year, where they are able to see some of the finest works of art in the Royal Collection and visit the world's most historic working stables, and our staff play a vital role in ensuring each and every one of them has a memorable and enjoyable visit.
Do you have strong communication skills and are enthusiastic about working with people? Could you assist in interpreting and explaining exhibits, buildings and works of art by enthusing and engaging visitors? Do you enjoy working with a diverse and friendly team of colleagues? In addition to general Warden duties, our seasonal team also devise and lead guided tours of the Royal Mews and Buckingham Palace gardens. Comprehensive training will be provided, but you must be a confident communicator and be able to engage the attention of an audience, whilst responding to their interest and knowledge level.
