The Royal Household offers a unique and special working environment employing 1000 staff across a wide range of professions. During the summer months Royal Collection Enterprises, the thriving commercial operation responsible for the opening of the Royal residences, employs up to 350 temporary staff to work during the Summer Opening of the State Rooms at Buckingham Palace.
Working as part of a professional HR team, a high caliber and pro-active Assistant Personnel Officer is sought to co-ordinate the volume recruitment and on-boarding activities for the Summer Opening front-line staff, and to assist with other recruitment campaigns as necessary.
You will be a graduate with previous recruitment experience (both single and volume), including the development and application of a range of selection techniques, and you will also ideally hold a professional HR/recruitment qualification.
You will have strong project co-ordination and organisation skills with the ability to prioritise and co-ordinate multiple activities to meet deadlines. A sound knowledge of MS Office and database systems, excellent writing and drafting skills, confident communication skills and the ability to quickly establish positive working relationships are also essential.
