This study of a Polish 'Chevau-léger' of the Emperor Napoleon's personal escort is by the twentieth-century Polish artist Feliks Topolski, who first visited England to record King George V's Jubilee in 1935 and later settled here. The drawing was presented by Topolski to The Duke of Edinburgh in the 1980s
