A plaque commemorates cooperation between the Polish Air Force and RAF

An Exhibition of Polish Memorabilia from the Royal Collection

The cooperation between the RAF and the Polish Air Force in the course of the Second World War was commemorated in this plaque, presented to The Queen by President Kwasniewski during the State Visit to Poland in 1996. The eagle is the national emblem of Poland. The plaque is inscribed (in translation): 'Remembering the glorious past we are building the future'
